RAE Corp. offers permanent magnet DC motors in a variety of configurations. For applications with limited continuous duty torque ratings, the M1500 series features a 2.250" diameter, HP range from 1/60 to 1/12, speeds up to 5000 rpm, and VDC range from 12 to 115.

Kollmorgen produces permanent DC motors and brushless DC motors. Line of DC motors includes direct drive DC torque motors and permanent magnet DC motors. Direct drive DC torque motors features high stall torque for positioning systems, high torque at low speeds for speed control systems, optimum torque at high speed for positioning, rate, or tensioning systems, diameter range from 1.13 to 32 in. Lin Engineering produces NEMA Size 17 standard torque motors, Size 23 BLDC standard torque motors and Size 23 BLDC high torque motors. NEMA size 17 standard torque motors feature 8 rotor poles, 3 phases, diameter range of 1.7 to 3.9 inches, rated torque range from 10 to 41 oz-in, and 24 VDC rated voltage. NEMA Size 23 BLDC standard torque motors feature 4 rotor poles, 3 phases, diameter range of 2 to 4.53 inches, rated torque range from 19 to 87.8 oz-in, 4000 RPM rated speed, and 36 VDC rated voltage.
