Brush types are designed with an ironless rotor, high acceleration, copper commutation, frame size range from 8 to 35 mm, power range from 0.7 to 102 W, and voltage range from 1.5 to 48 VDC. Brushless slotless motors are designed with an electronic commutation, 2 wire types with onboard electronics, and sensored or sensorless construction.

Hampton supplies DC motors and drives in various series. Magnapak Series of motors feature range of 1/8 to 1 HP, uni body construction, on/off switch, 120 or 240 VAC models, C-face motor mount, continuous duty rating, totally enclosed and non-ventilated or totally enclosed and fan cooled versions, and easy installation. Permanent magnet Cyletrol  DC motors are available in 13 models from 1/8 to 5 HP, easy access to brushed for quick brush replacement, non vented and fan cooled versions, 90/180 volt armatures and 1899 RPM base speed. SCR rated permanent magnet DC motors are designed with NEMA 56C, continuous duty, constant torque, ball bearings, removable base and TENC and TEFC designs. Permanent Magnet DC Motor 137 Series  feature industrial standard NEMA frame sizes, continuous duty, ball bearings, removable base and spare brushes.

Mavilor, an Infranor Group Company, designs and manufactures two models of DC brush motors. The company's MSS series of DC motors feature a voltage of 39 to 224 VDC, a torque of 0.6 to 13.6 nM, and a maximum RPM of 3,000. The company's CML series of DC motors feature a maximum speed of 3,000 RPM, a voltage of 12 to 48 VDC, and a torque of 0.08 to 0.2 Nm.
