Rockwell Automation features Aronad iron core, ironless and vacuum linear motor products. Iron core motors can provide actuation forces from 30 N to over 11,000 N peak. Their 2-part construction features a 3-phase laminated coil and a single-sided magnet track to deliver performance even in rapid point-to-point positioning applications. Ironless options offer forces from 8 N to 2,000 N peak. In addition to 2-piece design and 3-phase coil, these motors use a balanced, dual-sided U-shaped magnet channel to eliminate cogging in order to achieve consistent velocity control. Vacuum linear motors are contact-free, making them ideal for cleanroom and vacuum compatible environments.
