Brush DC servo motors are designed with a 0.86" - 4" diameter with continuous torques up to 28 in-lb and maximum speed up to 10,650 RPM. Brushless DC motors are designed with a 1.3 to 4.75 inch diameter, maximum speed up to 12,000 RPM and slotted motors. Brush commutated DC gearmotors feature sintered steel gears, 2 pole permanent magnet construction, diamond turned commutators and copper graphite brushes. DC brush type motors feature 18 to 75V DC or 9 to 25V DC single power supply, 10A peak, and 6A continuous output current.

Telco Motion makes brushless DC and brushed PMDC motors, including industrial grade and low cost PMDCs. Their industrial permanent magnet type have an insulation class of F or H, with noise levels from 65 dB to 85 dB, max rated current from 0.3 to 32, max rated speed from 670 to 6800rpm, max rated torque from 80 to 2500 mNm, in 1.57 to 7.87 inch diameters, and more for electric tools, office supplies, golf carts, instruments, and meter applications.

Animatics offers SmartMotors in a brushless DC servo design. The OEM & Legend 1700 Series features a VDC power input from 20 to 48, 7900 RPM nominal load speed, and compatibility with NEMA 17, right angle gearheads. The OEM & Legend 2300 Series of DC motors are compatible with NEMA 23 series of gearheads. 2300 Series of motors include the SM 2315 Series which are designed with custom shaft lengths and diameters with external encoder input and standard provisions for double shaft extension, the SM 2337 Series with custom windings, shaft lengths and diameters, and the SM 2310 Series with custom windings, shaft lengths, diameters, keyways, and flats. The OEM & Legend 3400 Series are compatible with NEMA 34 series of high performance, right angle gearheads.
