  Bison distributed DC motors, DC parallel shaft gearmotors and DC right angle gearmotors. The 26 series of DC motors are available in 12, 24, or 90 voltages with an input HP range from 1/53 to 1/9 HP, double shielded ball bearings, carbon steel shafts, base and face mounting, dynamically balanced armatures, oversized brushes and zinc alloy casting. The 32 series of DC motors are available in 12, 24, 90, or 180 voltages with an input HP range from 1/18 to 1/3 HP, double shielded ball bearings, carbon steel shafts, base and face mounting, dynamically balanced armatures, oversized brushes and zinc alloy casting. The 746 Series of DC right angle gearmotors are designed with aluminum housing, hardened steel shafts, base mounting, ball adn needle bearings, reversible rotation, and powder-coat gloss black finish. The 750 Series of DC right angle gearmotors are designed with aluminum housing, hardened steel shafts, position pilot or base mounting, double shielded ball bearings, reversible rotation, TENV enclosure, and powder-coat gloss black finish. The VWDIR23 DC Series of DC right angle gearmotors are designed with zinc die castings, grease lubrication, steel gears, cast iron gear, ball bearings, all position-mounting, reversible rotation and lip seal on output. Line of DC parallel shaft gearmotors include 100 series with up to 100 in-lbs of torque, 175 series with up to 175 in-lbs of torque, 300 series with up to 350 in-lbs of torque, 480 series, 650 series with up to 710 in-lbs of torque, VWDIR134 DC series with 90V permanent magnet design, and VWDIR83 DC series with 12V and 90V permanent magnet design.

Both AC and DC parallel shaft gearmotors are available in a wide range of sizes and speeds, from 1.3 to 519 RPM, and are designed for devices as small as an ice machine, to systems as large as a retractable glass roof for the Chicago Zoo.   Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. manufactures three series of DC right angle gearmotors. The 746 series features input of 1/15HP and torque of 15 to 68 in-lbs., while the 750 series feature input of 1/4 or 1/8 HP and speed of 30 to 360 rpm. The VWDIR23 motor features input of 1/10 or 1/20 HP and torque of 34 to 250 in-lbs.

  Bison is a manufacturer of AC right-angle worm gearmotors. Their 746 Series features 1/15 input HP, 20 to 75 in-lbs of torque, and speeds from 27 to 157 RPM. The 756 Series offers 1/8 and 1/4 input HP, 15 to 130 in-lbs of torque and speeds of 28 to 330 RPM. Bison's VWDIR03 AC worm gearmotors feature 1/15 input HP, 27 to 250 in-lbs of torque, and speeds of 4.5 to 100 RPM.
