  Franklin Electric are manufacturers of 6-inch and 8-inch submersible motors typically used in large water wells that require high flow rates or deep installations. Six inch submersible motors come in Standard, Hi-Temp 90, and Volt-X models. Eight inch motors come in Standard and Hi-Temp 75 designs.

  • 6" Standard: 3450 RPM, 60 Hz, 5-60 HP range
  • 6" Hi-Temp 90: Up to 194°F (90°C) ambient temperature
  • 6" Volt-X: Can be connected in either 230 or 460 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz power supplies
  • 8" Standard: 40-200 HP range, 2900 or 3525 RPM
  • 8" Hi-Temp 75: Up to 167°F (75°C) ambient temperature

• in Waterproof Motors

  Franklin has two styles of 4-inch waterproof motors, super stainless and high thrust. Super stainless and high-thrust motors are available in single and three-phase voltages, frequencies and system-specific models. Both waterproof motors are suitable for groundwater systems, agricultural use, small- and mid-range industrial systems, car washes and coalbed methane recovery systems. Four inch stainless motors feature HP ranges of 0.3 - 1.5, 0.5 - 1.5, 0.3 - 3, and 0.5 - 3 HP, and KW ranges of 0.25 - 1.1, 0.37 - 1.1, 0.25 - 2.2, and 0.37 - 2.2 KW.
