Harmonic Drive manufactures the KDU Series of direct drive servo motors that feature resolution of 8.38 million divisions/revolution, and high precision 10 arcs/sec absolute position accuracy (repeatability of ± 0.5 arc/sec). Other features include stopping stability in servo lock model less than ± 2 pulses (±0.31 arcs/sec.), high torque (7 Nm or 15 Nm, depending on model), a motor OD of 130 mm, a hollow opening diameter of 50mm, and mechanical accuracy run out on output side of 2µm. These direct drive servo motors are used for semiconductor manufacturing systems, FPD manufacturing equipment, optical machines, and measurement, analytical and test systems.
