  M.G.M manufactures electric motors including 3 phase brake and induction motors. Their BA and BM series are three phase asynchronous brake motors that are TEFC with IP54 environmental protection and class F insulation. The BA series in available in sizes 71 to 225 and the BM series is available from size 56 to 160. The SM series is made up of 3 phase squirrel cage induction motors. These are also of TEFC configuration with class F insulation but with IP55 environmental protection. The size range is 56 to 225. Options features include 50 Hz for worldwide use.

The squirrel cage motors feature a power range from 0.12 to 60 HP, single speed and two speed, totally enclosed fan cooled, oversized brake disc for high brake torque, fine brake torque adjustment, 3 phase brake, compact or oversized conduit box. Additional components include pressed steel brake cover, molded plastic fan, and extremely low rotor inertia. Insulation system includes phase insulators, vertical dripping and slot liners. Mounting configurations feature feet integration, foot mount, face mounts, flange mounts, and versatile mounting in any position. Typical applications include standard induction duty applications, rapid cycling start and stop, palletizers, packaging machinery, conveyors, speed regulation, transfer cars, stackers, synchronized systems and winches.
