in High Torque Stepper Motors
Omega Engineering, Inc. offers high torque bipolar stepper motors. These motors come in NEMA sizes ranging from 11 to 34, holding torques from 15 to 1845 oz-in, up to 51,200 steps/revolution, voltages ranging from 2 to 7.4, and leads ranging from 4 to 8. Motors are available in either a series or parallel connection, and in dual shaft models for encoder mounting.

Omega produces stepper motors and drives. Step motor types includes variable reluctance, permanent magnet, and hybrid step motors. Standard hybrid motors have 200 rotor teeth and rotate at 1.8º step angles. Step modes include full steps with 200 full steps per revolution, half steps with 400 steps per revolution and micro-step with 51,200 steps per revolution. Stepping motor selection includes 3540M micro-stepping drives, ST performance stepper drives, 1240i programmable step motor driver, and STAC6 series stepper drives.
