Custom design options for three phase motors include "C' or "D" mounting flanges, Class A, B, F or H insulation, with TENV (totally enclosed, not ventilated), TEFC (totally enclosed, fan cooled) , TEXP (totally enclosed, explosion proof), open or ODP (open, drip proof).

Single phase AC motors are single phase repulsion induction motors with conventional stator winding, thermal overload protection, large ball bearings, cast iron or steel frame, drip proof construction, and rigid foot mounting. Hermetic AC motors feature hermetically sealed enclosures, fully welded joint construction, squirrel cage rotor, special inverter duty winding and lubricated bearings with a 1 HP through 75 HP power range at speeds of 1150, 1750, and 3500 rpm.
